Thanks to the new office development for Comharchumann Forbartha Chorca Dhuibhne, our parent body, we are delighted to now have a brand new storage facility for the musuem, so work will begin, over the next few weeks, in transferring artefacts from the museum collection, into the new store.
We are grateful to the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, which, under their 2014 Scheme to Assist Local and Regional Musuems, allocated a generous grant towards the cost of shelving for the museum, and for archival storage materials, also to be used in the new store.
