Músaem Chorca Dhuibhne is the home of the comprehensive archive of the Archaeological Survey of the Dingle Peninsula, which took place from 1982-84. The archive consists of detailed files relating to all the archaeological sites on the peninsula, maps, slides, photographs and site plans and drawings. Flora Chorca Dhuibhne was published by Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne to great acclaim some years ago. But the book was only a small element of a much larger project, consisting of colour images, slides and written information, contained in 19 individual folders. The museum also has a small library of books, videos and cassette tapes. Many of the books came from the libraries of the late Fr. Ó Ciosáin, p.p. Baile an Fheirtéaraigh, and of the late Michael Long, Naturalist and Publican, Dingle. It consists mainly of books of interest to Irish Language scholars, historians and naturalists. These publications may be consulted on site, but it is not possible to remove them from the museum.
